David,
This is a terrific theme. Perfect for my newbie site. But I’m having difficulty with the sidebar widgets.
They’re embedded in the site, but the won’t display onscreen.
I’m using Wordpress 2.5.1.
Any ideas?
Thanks
John M,
I have no idea why it’s not working. Make sure the functions.php file was uploaded correctly.
Other than that I’m not sure what is making act up.
Ran in front locomotive, which arrived late.
Hi – I’m trying to use your theme for one of my websites and I have a couple questions. The website is http://www.allamakeegop.com I am very new to wordpress and I find it challenging. I would like to remove the calendar on the theme as I have a page for a google calendar. How can I do this? Also I don’t know how to put content on the “home” page. It doesn’t show up on my list of pages. Would you please be able to provide some advice?
Mark
You’ll need to make a post to show up as your front page content, or you could go to settings and set a page to be your frontpage.
You can also go to the widget section under design and add a widget to get rid of the calender that shows up on the sidebar.
figured it out – thanks man
How do you fill in the “Author” box which appears on the right hand side of the page? Do you need to go into the Stylesheet or somewhere else?
Thanks?
How do I edit the “Author” block?

Also, how can I make the right sidebar wider? I have tried in the stylesheet by increasing the width but that doesn’t seem to work. Thanks.
